Donald Trump Speaks Out: “Corrupt System” Targeting Him in Georgia Trial

Former President Donald Trump reacts sharply to the decision to livestream his Georgia trial, voicing concerns of a ‘corrupt system’ on Truth Social.

Former US President Donald Trump expressed his vehement disapproval in a fiery tirade on his platform, Truth Social, following recent developments regarding his Georgia trial.

Trial to Be Livestreamed

The outburst came in the wake of a decision by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee.

The judge declared that the court proceedings involving Trump would be live-streamed on television and YouTube.

“We will be live streaming all of our major proceedings on a Fulton County-provided YouTube channel, and we planned to do that with this case as well,” Judge McAfee stated.

Accusations and Charges Against Trump

Donald Trump and 18 others are facing a series of charges stemming from a 41-count indictment.

The extensive indictment claims there was a deliberate plot to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.

The former president pleaded not guilty just a day earlier, voicing his intent to separate his case from certain other defendants.

Trump’s Sharp Response to Truth Social

Within hours of the livestreaming announcement, Trump took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, to vent his frustration.

His message was forthright:

“I am being “railroaded” by a highly partisan and corrupt system of INJUSTICE, headed up by an opponent who is losing in the polls and, simultaneously with all of this, destroying our once Great Country!”

The events leading up to these charges date back to the controversial 2020 elections, where Democratic candidate Joe Biden triumphed over the Republican incumbent in Georgia.
