On Christmas Eve, three busloads of migrants arrived in Washington, D.C., and were dropped off in front of the residence of Vice President Kamala Harris.
The buses, believed to be from Texas, arrived in the evening when the temperature was 18 degrees.
The migrants were seen wearing only light clothing in the freezing weather and were provided with blankets and transported to a local church by the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network.
The group aims to provide the migrants with resources and welcome them to the United States. However, it is not clear where the migrants are from.
The Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network declined to disclose which church the migrants were taken to but stated that they were given warm food and clothing.
